Frequently Asked Questions
How often do you visit?
Most of our customers prefer service once a week. We have custom schedules which are bi-weekly, monthly, and one-time cleaning.
Is there a contract? How do I Cancel/Suspend Cleaning?
No, there isn’t a contract, however, for insurance purposes we need a signed service agreement giving us permission to be on your property. If you need to suspend or cancel service, simply send us a message on Facebook or email written notification, just give us one weeks notice and we’ll gladly accommodate you.
Do you work through the winter? What happens when it snows?
Yes. Dogs poop all year round and our company continues to scoop and remove dog waste through the winter. We’ll work in most weather, but heavy rain or snow can delay us. If there is more than an inch of snow or rain, we will postpone that day’s service until the next business day. If snow stays on the ground for more than a week, but there is no new snow to cover it, we will do regular clean-ups to prevent excessive accumulation.
Do I have to be home when you come?
No. We are happy to visit when you are not home but we must have access to the area to be cleaned and insist nervous or aggressive dogs are secured prior to our arrival. Having a stranger in the garden can be stressful for dogs. We will always close the gates/doors when we exit and ensure the garden is secure.
How do I pay you?
We accept cash, cheques or standing orders as payment and kindly request the service is paid in advance of attendance or in person on the day of our visit. Paper receipts are issued for any cash payments received on the day by our workers to ensure your peace of mind.
Is there an extra charge for the first visit?
Depending on how long it has been since you last scooped and the quantity of waste will depend whether an extra fee will be charged.
